How far along? 24 weeks
Size of baby? Length of an Ear of Corn (12 inches long, weighs 1.25 pounds)
Maternity clothes? Yes
Have you started to show yet? Yes! This week I have been stopped by strangers and asked about the baby. People have been so nice to me and Jimbo and I have definitely noticed.
Sleep? Good
Movement? Yes, all the time!
Food cravings? No
Anything making you queasy or sick? No
Symptoms? Still having back pain and rib pain.
Gender? Girl!
What I miss? So much...being able to sit up in bed without difficulty, being able to lift things, the taste of beer, not having back pain.....but it is all worth it :)
Looking forward to? Planning baby showers, cleaning out the room we've chosen for the baby, and finishing up the registry!
Best moment this week? Jimbo was on leave and it was so wonderful having him home! We enjoyed time together, we went to the beach, baseball games, spent time with friends, and accomplished a lot around the house.
Fun Fact about baby? Her skin that has been see-through up until this point is now becoming more opaque and she is starting to fill out with some baby fat. Her lungs are continuing to grow and make surfactant (it helps the air sacs inflate once she's born).
