I have the itch to be outdoors and working! I just love this time of year. It's so pleasant outside. This time next month I'll be wishing it was Winter again haha!
I took some old clay/terra cotta pots and spruced them up a bit. Then of course I needed some new plants to put into them. I have been wanting some succulents for the longest time and I finally bought some! It's called "Hens and Chickens" and it is so pretty:

I used wood stain on this pot. It turned out great!

I also found a gardenia tree. Gardenia's are my husband's favorite and I just had to buy it. I love it so far and it reminds me of him every time I see it :) It obviously wouldn't fit into a pot that I already had so I had to get a new one:
These plants have been alive since Saturday. So far so good haha! I also got a little carried away today and mowed the front and side yard, used the weed-eater around the entire house and edged the driveway and sidewalk. If you can't tell from the pictures, our yard is a huge, kind-of-steep hill. It's more noticeable when you're using a push mower going up the hill or along the side of it. But I did it!

| Look at that edge :) |

The part where the sod ends was out of control! It was like a wheat grass field haha
You can see the AC again!

Stay tuned for more pictures of the other pots I made as I find plants to put in them!
PS I should tell you that I first sealed the pots with water seal before staining or painting them!
