It took a few coats of stain followed by a few coats of polyurethane to seal the table.

A serving tray that has a pig face and little curly tail? Perfection.
We also received these awesome candle sticks from my sister and her fiance for Christmas!
For the table settings, we chose simple and classic pieces. We were given six silver napkin rings for our wedding 3 years ago and our table seats eight so I went into the same store hoping to find two more. It was a long shot, but I found two more! Our table was complete :)
Our to do list for this room is getting smaller!
- Build a dining room table
- Find dining room chairs to go with our table
- Stain the table (we already have the stain to match the stain of the chairs)
- Seal the table
- Possibly build a buffet to go with our table and to use for storage
- Install crown molding to the coffered ceiling
- Install picture frame molding to the walls
- Find art for the walls
- Find curtains that Jimbo will agree on
- Accessorize with place settings, etc
